Lots of mens clothing are rooted in military wear: pea coats, duffel coats, field jackets, bomber jackets, pilot/aviator jackets, trench coats, among many others.

what is your favorite (or favorites)?

Chinos. I’ve just got a pair in proper Cramerton army cloth and I really like the difference.

I don’t actively look for military-inspired clothing, but I like the looks of trench coats (can’t wear them where I live; only if I travel overseas), desert boots, field jackets and chinos.

The rise of ready to wear owes a lot to the production of military uniforms.

I think the USN style chambray shirt would be my favorite item which stems out of the military apparel. [Here is a great example.](https://www.eastmanleather.com/usn-chambray-shirt-p-482.html)

As the weather is turning I have to say my wool trench coat.

    Peacoats and aviator sunglasses.

Combat boots, and sunglasses with side shields!

Rifle strap inspired belt. I got this on Grailed. Narraganset makes a similar one. https://www.grailed.com/listings/6883215

It’s either field shirts or C-1 survival vest([like this one](https://imgur.com/a/l6pystM), I have the one from Alpha Industries thou). I love my bloodchit MA-1 bomber too.

pea coats and duffel coats. But these days bombers are the favorite of many.. but the bombers of today are a lot less puffier than the actual military ones
